I'm thinking about making the drive over to Silverton, CO from the Bay Area beginning on July 8th or 9th (race starts on Friday, July 13th at 6am). It's a pretty long yet cool drive going through some nice places and I'd be happy to detour over to the Grand Canyon before and/or after the race.
The crewing would basically consist of telling me what a great job I'm doing and holding back looks of shock at my appearance, along with handing me some needed clothing and food, etc. I don't want to force my main pacer to cover too much ground, so a pacer from Ouray (mile 45) to Sherman (mile 72) would be nice.
Looks like GZ is the man!
Here's my race report from last year. It can't be that bad again, right?

It was a crazy snowy year last year.

Fun little deadly water crossings.
Views that leave you speechless.
All for a buckle (that you have to purchase). Well, that and the knowledge that you finished something that will change your existence.
