Pacific Coast Trail Runs (PCTR) has contracted Inside Trail Racing to organize and direct the Rodeo Beach trail run event taking place this Saturday, December 31st. Volunteers are needed, so if you can spare a few hours on Saturday to help, please contact Tim Long or Tim Stahler via the Inside Trail website.

I'm sorry but I'm confused. Is this blog and Inside Trail Racing affiliated? I assumed the 2 Tims were related to both. The last post I read said PCTR had lawyers contact you about running the race themselves and your weren't associated with them any longer. I'm trying to figure all of this out. I've been a customer of PCTR for a few years now but have put my patronage on hold due to their lack of business ethics over the past months. I have been trying out a few other organizations in an effort to replace them.

ReplyDelete1. We were asked initially to put on Rodeo Beach for pctr
2. We were then (through a letter from pctr's lawyer) threatened not to put the event on.
3. We are now hired to put the event on.
This is my personal blog. The last two months of this unfortunate situation (euphemism) has consumed my life at all levels. I wish I did have fun personal stuff about which to write but I don't. It's been a month of sleepless nights, half-hearted runs, and stress. So, yes, the saga has spilled into my personal blog because I currently have nothing else.
It is confusing and, trust me, both Tim S. and I are eager (understatement) for Jan 1st to get here, so we can put on kick ass events.
